Country Love...Emporia, KS engagement session

I was up bright and early for this session.  Left the house at 6 a.m. to make the 2 hour drive to Emporia, KS and catch some yummy morning light with these "to-be-weds".  Once there the work was easy though.  There's something to be said for shooting fellow shutterbugs.  Locations were already scouted out (which is good since I knew NOTHING about the Emporia area) and there was even a tall ladder conveniently located in the back of the truck for me to get just the right perspective at said locations.  The farm was AMAZING and offered beautiful backgrounds and props everywhere you looked.  And then of course there was the beautiful couple who are so obviously in love that you can't help but love them too.  All of that made for a dream shoot and I love the results.

Simply beautiful ceremony in Lee's Summit, Mo.

I've been to a lot of weddings both large and small and I have to say this was one reminded me more than any other what the day is all about.  It was a simple ceremony with just family and friends, tucked away in a beautiful little spot and I was so happy I got to be a part of it.
