What a pretty mama! Thank you for satisfying my urge to do some maternity shots! We got some great studio shots. Now to find a mama-to-be this summer for some outdoor fun!
...and one more. This one was taken very quickly and not planned so there are plenty of things wrong with it, but it is probably my favorite anyway. This is what her face looked like when she saw daddy pull into the driveway.
I LOVE fall. I've really been too busy to take near the amount of fall photos that I would like too, and most of what I have taken are still camping out on my card in my camera waiting for me to find the time to do something with them, but here are a few early fall photos that were taken at the Fall Festival in Missouri Town. If you have never been, it's a fun thing to do...especially with kiddos. I will admit though that the scenery is so beautiful and there are so many great barns and rustic buildings that I was sometimes dreaming of coming back alone so I could get all of the shots I wanted without worrying about losing a child. Next year I will bring a helper.

A lot of "somethings" actually. This was my first newborn shoot so that in itself was new to me (and so much fun!). Second, obviously, a new baby. About 10 days new to be exact! Third, a new backdrop (ok, actually I have had it for a little while, but this was the first time I used it. I think it's yummy! Why yummy? Because it reminds me of coffee and chocolate I guess. Two things I love. And lastly, a VERY new blanket. I was so excited for this shoot and had some very specific ideas in my head and one of them involved a blanket that did not exist yet so I finished knitting it seconds before walking out the door!
I can't believe she's 4. It seems like just yesterday she was in diapers and had a little bald head. It doesn't help that she thinks she is 14. Lucky for me, she's a natural in front of the camera. She's had a little practice ;). I love you sweet girl!
